  4. ​ @crabbytemptations1771  Its a Festung city which Hitler himself ordered to be defended to the last men and home of hundreds factories that help the war effort. Its a legit military target. Any civilian killed is just unfortunate side effect of war.

Oh btw what happen if the civilian population was conscripted to volksturm like in many festung cities on eastern front? its then ok to bomb them? So its not ok to bomb them but its ok to arm them and get them crushed by soviet tanks?
