@12q8 Wrong! They only cared about being re elected. If inflating the economy will get them re elected they will do it. And BTW any politician who said something about tomorrow is shittier than today, we must star saving and everyone get a paycut 100% will never be elected. Also modern fiat currency are meant to be spend and will eventually inflated. and countries are competing each other. So anyone who try to slow down their own economy will in the end lag behind.

@jamesdewane1642 Lol there's only one Hegemon in the world today. USA. Survive WWII unharmed, somehow managed to turn USD into global reserve and the home of big tech company. US must keep the world peace, hence many wars conducted on behalf of Saudi, Israel, Korea. But it still better than the alternative. If no one became hegemon the its like free for all team death match without team lock. Each country have to fight to defend its border until one nation climb up to be the next hegemon. Ofc its not going to be USA.
