@vandeheyeric "The Terijoki government was established AFTER the Soviet declaration of war and invasion (which is why it was named how it was, after a Finnish village that was overrun at the time). It was meant to be the future puppet rulers of Finland ala what had happened with Estonia, Latvia, and so forth. And it was probably intended as such at the start of negotiations."
Yeah by doing so he can get away with his invasion. Its hard to understand that? Stalin invade to install puppet government, not to prepare massive colonization effort in the area. Like what Germans did.
"Again, this is blatantly false and shows you don't actually know twat the Soviets did in the crucial Winter of 1939-40. The invasion of Eastern Poland was an annexation; no puppets, no intermediaries, no ultimatum, no stage managed elections. Just the Red Army rolling in and taking its share of the loot."
The one who annex polish territory are the Latvian, The Belarusian and the Ukrainian, payback from 1920. Alsothat started because Germans walk beyond Curzon Line.
"Again, the Soviets also started the mess, as shown by the genocide of the Poles East of the Curzon Line"
I dont think its count as genocide. Since majority of poles in that prison serve in 1st Polish army.
"Hardly. Both were utterly criminal to such a degree that deciding which one was less criminal is pretty much splitting hairs."
If the puppet regime are happy with it they can get away freely.
