@ravenkk4816 Nope! you get the number by crunching units deployed. 9k is actually 3x 3k while on tank division its 3x 600. Logistic per battalion are about 300 or 3x 100 . If you want to make your own number please make it believable. Germany still have 16k per division. the one got reduced is the armored division because oil shortage. for manpower they still have volunteer from everywhere, children, and elderly.

@steeltrap3800 That number include tank crew. I remember that soviet infantry division have 10k men, 9k combat 1k logistic. While in tank division they only have 3k. @k combat 1k logistic. I don't know if that number include logistic because at that point soviet have much better logistic.

@ravenkk4816 Do not count rested divisions which they are in lower number but they are not engaged in battle of any kind. They are rested in the second/third line building villages or doing training or sending their talented soldier to officer school. They never get into combat. Each soviet division have 6 months rest to build their number to 9k fighting strength before deployed for 6 months of active duty.
