Victor Yatall I was surprised to find out that, before electricity, people went to bed at sunset and got up in the middle of the night (11pm-1:30am) for a few hours before returning to bed and sleeping until just before dawn. This "split" sleeping schedule allowed the fire to be stoked, babies to be fed, etc.

Ironic how your comment attracted a scammer who has left the same comment for many here...

At 25:01 when pride is brought up - I had a mentor who changed my values around selling myself, name of Chuck Lewis. (He wrote a book with many of his stories about selling called: "You're Gonna Love it!") Among other things, Chuck taught me that the "deadly sins" really had another emotion attached that was what made these "sins" a "deadly" problem. For instance he quipped, "Pride without fear is a desire for excellence." Once I thought about my reluctance to congratulate myself, this gave me a whole new interpretation on the value of being proud - as a self-training tool. After which I began to reward myself like a two-year-old when I succeeded, even when it was "accidentally on purpose." This allowing myself to be "proud" of what I did right trained my random but lucky mistakes into a skill I could repeat reliably. Succeeding by skill is a desire pointed toward excellence! Most often I hear a similar message from multiple sources until the content echoes for long enough for me to put these "great idea" insights into action. Anyone else who offered you insights that this talk inspired you to recall?
