  1. I refused a search from a cop who said the same thing to me. I said, I had a notarized statement about how, if it is my choice, I always say no to being searched when asked by authorities. I used to carry a copy of this document.

  2. ​ @UmmmmmmmWhat  I had the same situation happen & suggested to the cop after he gave me the ticket that we retrace my path where he could show me the MPH limit sign (that didn't exist.) A half hour later, I stopped to talk with him about the fact he evaded me as we "discovered" there was no MPH limit sign justifying a speeding ticket. He stated that higher up the road, an advisory MPH limit sign located on a curve had been verified knocked down. Even though that wasn't where I was located when he mistakenly gave me the ticket, the office allowed him to TAKE BACK THE CITATION because of the downed sign. I've never, ever heard of police being able to do that. Good thing, because a couple of weeks later that same cop was at my doorstep, returning lost ID to my landlord's family member. Am happy for small town consequences, where people forge real relationships!

  5. What if all of us donated something to bring this issue - or any issue we believe needs justice - perhaps it could be brought to justice, right? Money is what talks effectively.
