  2. Watch Rob's Privacy thread on this channel - particularly his ideas about "browser isolation." Using all of the different Google services inside ONE browser (why not Chrome, since it's Google?) is the way to go.

  5.  @ricketts223  yes, the phone is still searching for the Wifi networks it COULD connect to - in case you want to connect at some point in the future. It's a hardwired to do this, you cannot "turn Wifi Off."

  7. Yes, this tracking activity thing is entirely out of user control! You don't have to install your own OS, you can buy a phone from Rob Braxman. A Faraday pouch by itself is NOT"The Answer." As soon as you take your phone out of the pouch, it re-establishes ALL of those possible objectionable connections. If your phone's technology CAN "phone home" to it's originators, it's going to do that when the cat is out of the bag. A Faraday pouch needs to be part of a total strategy. Please, please, please learn more. Protecting yourself needs so much more than doing ONE thing. If you're only going to do ONE THING to protect yourself, try Rob's advice on: Browser Isolation to start out.
