Join Brax.me - and just go there and read whatever interests you that people are discussing about privacy that you might be considering. It's a fun way to dip a toe into the tech without money and it will familiarize you with terms, etc. for when you can take further steps.

  3. Rob recommends using a bunch of browsers, as you have been doing - and separate them by categorical topics so their tracking can't cross-reference each other. Check out the term: "Browser isolation" But Rob doesn't prefer some browsers - like the Opera and Edge and the ones used in China. Of course on laptop there's Libre Office. You're asking about phone text/docu? There's a number of them on F-Droid.

  4.  @Ragnar0321  can reinstall Brave and it clears a previous Google connection. You say, "main" browser - do you mean "main shopping browser"? Aren't you separating your actions by browser as advise using "browser isolation" privacy safety techniques?"

  7. I tell people my story of why I got into privacy - basically I didn't want an advertiser to repeatedly bug me about buying their product after accusing me how I had cancer when I didn't! Then I intro browser isolation as a first step and brax.me as a great substitute for phone messaging.
