  1. We have quite a number of semiconductor fabs in the US, with some which are new ones for 5nm and I believe 3nm process. I believe the majority, if not all, of our military chip needs have always been manufactured in the US. (GlobalFoundaries was once a powerhouse fab, on par with TSMC; they've fallen far behind but we've always had a number of their fabs in the US; also IBM's and one of two of Intel's)

  2. ​ @timlockett1116  I told them it wasn't Matt last time. It falls on deaf ears. They sound the same and only Matt says his name in the intro, so that means "both must be Matt!" 😅 At the end of the day, their sentiments are in the right place.

  3.  @arthurhamilton5222  Ancient history is not relevant history. Especially when we factor in that we, unfortunately, don't tend to learn from our past mistakes. So I'm not sure what modern relevance "Ancient astronaut theory" plays here?

(yes, I'm aware that people outside of that small entertainment bubble DO believe that stuff, but some _also believe in a tabletop style earth, doesn't mean it's factual heh)_
