  1. 17:12 I can't help but get the impression that, like the earlier case of "Xi saying the quiet parts out loud", that this sole article seems to be an internal article punished externally... One that actually used facts and level-headed opinions, the likes of which you'd write to advise your superiors on the situation, as opposed to an article using the exact opposite in order to to placate and mislead their populous. (which is what we usually see)

  2. The problem is, most of our adversaries don't allow truthful coverage for their citizens to consume (and, therefore, outsiders to also consume). I believe it was 3 or 4 years prior to the Ukr situation that Ruz decided to pull the plug on allowing their Space Journalists to, well, report on anything of substance. I believe that a similar fate befell their other industries shortly thereafter and now their media is similarly "locked down" just like Chn's. We know how things are in NK, which is similar once again. The only one I don't know about, due to no pressing interest, is Cuba and whether their journalists have any restrictions. Wouldn't surprise me if it was that way for a long time, nor would it if it now isn't... but it also wouldn't surprise me if it was... heh
