  2.  @gingerlicious3500  that's not a Power being lazy... That's a Power being corrupt. Every stage of the Russian government has individuals who are there only because they are the best of the liars. They've used their craft (lying) to get where they are, move up the good chain, cover their asses, and continue to fabricate BS as new situations arise. Person A is passing on partial truths to Person B, to make themselves seem a worthwhile asset. Person B manipulated it further so that it seemed more juicy of intelligence than it really is, before paying it on to Person C. Same happens over and over until it is finally passed along to Person V... But that point, the original "Full Truth" before it was picked up by Person A, was to the affect of "There's are no Nazis here and most of the population does not want to be under Russian control". Manipulated to being: "some small Nazi groups, with a portion of the citizens wanting Russia's help" as it was passed on to Per.B .... etc etc ..... Until Vlad gets the memo, which reads something like: "heavy Nazi presence, entire population pleading for liberation; foreign government tampering and presence, with illegal manufacturing of banned weapons of war, etc etc". All in an effort for that person to appear as though THEY can deliver the best of knowledge, all in am effort to fit their mob boss' grand scheme leader's delusions of what's happening in Ukraine. That way, this person will receive funding to continue their operations (ie: manufacturing of bullshit), which they'll pocket 90% of.... but will, of course, CLAIM the funds all were well spent and distributed. (totally not being used for kickbacks, nope nope nope!) So yea, I suppose it could be argued that those people are getting lazy and would rather fabricate lies instead of doing actual intelligence work... But I stand by the fact that it's corruption that motivates them to lie, and it takes effort to make them so elaborate. (lies which are, to my fellow Americans/western nations, so absurd that when we read the things Russia claims, we're utterly baffled by how anyone over the age of 8 could believe it!)
