What catches me by surprise is that they would give a subsonic recon UAV, two engines... Simply because up until now, all of such birds have been single engine, since that's more efficient, weighs less, and is all that's needed for the task. Yet, the photos show, at least to my eyes, two converging contrails.
Or, and equally plausible, my understanding of how the contrail forms from a single engine outlet is incorrect, and the 'cloud' would indeed start forming to the left and right of the hot exhaust stream... Which would thereby give it the illusion of two converging contrails, when in reality it's just one that starts from these two 'fork tines'. 🤷♂️
