I'm pro-Ukraine, but indeed, it looks more like there WERE NOT PoWs on the plane. From what I've seen, the Russian footage shows no sign of any people in custody being loaded onto the plane, plus there was an obvious jump-cut in said video which makes it even less credible. Just as well, their names list of this supposed-65 had a few who had already been previously transferred, or confirmed dead. And if Russia doesn't even correct their OWN dear of the battlefield, I doubt they'd bother with Ukrainian bodies.
I know the transfer of the dead is important even in these exchanges, but that would mean they were alive when captured and that doesn't look good for Russia if they died in custody; however, it sounded like that wasn't the case here.....
🤔 Although... that would explain why there seemed to be no prisoners under guard getting loaded onto the plane, as I guess it's possible they were all dead in the first place...
If that's the case, then I'd speculate it to be a false-flag op where they claim living soldiers and then Russia shoots it down from Russian-held territory, to make it look like Ukraine did it. Hoping the bodies would be destroyed our too-far damaged to gather any Time of Death by investigators – not like Russia would conduct that sort of investigation anyways, or even let any Ukrainian or third-party investigators come over there (since it happened deep into Russia).
All the news outlets are taking Russia's word for this, and THAT'S the problem. They've not been truthful this entire war, so why should this be any different?
It's only made worse by the fact Alex used it as an advertisement. (and I hold Alex in high regard, and love all that he does, but realistically... this wasn't the best example to use for an advert)

@Ieo9017 Typically, in my experience, they're what we could call "flesh and blood bots" 😁
Real people, but are either too brainwashed to know better, paid too well to care otherwise, or a mix of both!
As such, I like to engage them and poke holes in what they say, as then they (usually) respond, trying harder to make me look to be the idiot.
My take is: I know better, and if they engage me, then I'm effectively wasting their time and keeping them from irritating others, or even potentially convincing them otherwise on >insert topic here< 😊
Otherwise, I try to adhere to the age-old internet adage of: Do Not Feed The Trolls.
(from the mostly comical, but in many cases accurate: "Rules of the Internet" by the oft despised 4Chan community; in this instance _"Rule #14 - Do not argue with trolls—it means they win." 😎)
