@EL_DUDERIN0 And now that you mention it, now I'm curious whether it will apply some 'tricks' it learns on other airframes, to the others it pilots...
On the one hand, it could lead to a disaster (a crash, and loss of test hardware), so I can appreciate wanting to limit that behavior, as it might only have been capable of such maneuvers due to say, thrust vectoring...
On the other hand, we all know what amazing things Fly-by-Wire has afforded us, so... maaybe machine learning will find ways to do more with it?
I'm not a pilot, and this might already be a feature in certain FbW aircraft, but perhaps it could offer automatic flat-spin recovery... perhaps even preventing it in the first place.
Or, better yet, if the pilot gets severely injured, it can take over completely and return to base (or nearby friendly airstrips). 🤔
