  1. Glad I'm not the only one who considered that. Although, admittedly, I discounted that due to figuring they lacked the necessary target locking capabilities... Or am I mistaken, and they do possess that, in order to relay locations of the things they're trying to coax out of hiding? My take away was these MALD were primarily passive. They were told what sort of bird they were to spoof, and then they flew around doing just that, with their "smartest" ability being that they could coordinate with actual planes (and maybe each other, to form up). Or as a jammer, where they loiter, 'screaming at the top of their lungs' so that the enemy couldn't hear. If these can become a kinetic weapon though, then holy shit, that certainly makes them all the more terrifying!! 🤘

  3.  @TheKingoftheriff  Admittedly, for whatever reason (pure absent mindedness lol), I had not even considered that there's more than enough hardpoints (11) for them to put 2x MALD on a SxS rack, attached to only 8 of the hardpoints! 🤦‍♂️😊 I was so hung up on the B-52's triple rack and the A-10 being capable of the same number as it, that my brain composure failed to do the simple math of 16 ÷ 2 = 8.... Not until you mentioned it, and then 💡! lol Thank you! 🥴

  5. Can I get a confirmation on the reported potential of sixteen MALD that an A-10 could carry?? As the F-16 shown needed a whole hardpoint to mount a single one, and if the A-10 has only a few additional hardpoints than the F-16... where would they attach the other 7? 🥴 I wouldn't think the A-10 would have the ground clearance needed to be equipped with the same tri-mount launchers that the B-52 was shown with... Does it? 🤨
