  1. Seriously, that "selector override" issue, to me, trumps all the other ones (a close second is the wobbly front rail)! Which I think I'll affectionately dub it "fucked-off mode", for the obvious reason that the selector has 'fucked-off' and is doing its own thing, irrespective of the guns designed operating modes... AND EVEN IF the gun operates just fine in fucked-off mode, the reason it's so severe is because it prevents YOU from being able to operate it! If it's only as minor as the first instance in the video, just barely hanging passed the frame, then genuinely that's not impeding anything. HOWEVER, if it fucks-off like it did when more force was applied (ie selecting in a panic; @ 45°) or like it was in the photo where it's now parallel with the pistol grip (@ 90°)... Both of those I feel are apt to get you killed, and here's why: @ 45° you are likely going to encounter it with your finger whilst trying to get it wrapped around the trigger to repel whomever, causing you to have to look down at it to see WTF. At which point either you're calm enough, and savvy enough -- you aren't, and, you're not -- to quickly ignore it by getting your finger behind it, at which point, only your squad mate has died due to your selector having fucked-off. But as mentioned, you're not calm or savvy due to being a conscript under fire, so not knowing if that'll cause a problem, now you take the time to move it back, but now you've safed your gun, meaning you bumble around to get it into any fire mode... but, now you and your squad mates are dead! @ 90° it's much the same, except now it's fucking uncomfortable or downright painful to operate, thanks to that superfluous tab at the end of the selector which protrudes out and is now digging into your palm... So either you again, bumble around to rectify it having fucked-off almost literally to Australia, and squad mates die, or, you put up with it causing your accuracy to suffer and... again, you all die... And! While typing that, I further realized the possibility that your selector now has TWO protrusions to be lovingly snagged on, potentially wrenching it into a fire mode (although, I say this out of pure ignorance, having no idea how stiff those are to actuate). If they had to make a new stamping-die to make the new selector... why not just eliminate the original tab, and half the selector along with it?? I'm mean sure, weapon familiarity, but c'mon... 😕 (I have a better mechanism for the folding butt, too, but I've lived up to my name enough the way it is! Kudos to anyone who has gotten this far!)
