Sorry for making a third comment, but it is just such an amazing video...
I feel like you're filming two stars colliding!
I really really REALLY hope that you guys can come up with a mounting system that enables the charges to be precisely mounted, allowing for a true head-on collision of the "cores"! ALSO, maybe Phantom will loan you their absolute fastest camera, to capture it in color! (as I assume they have some ludicrously, prohibitively expensive cameras)
The only thought I have as to facilitating a true head-on collision, would be to:
- Lay each panel on top of each other to drill center holes (for alignment), with two additional holes marking where the angle iron edges will touch.
- Then, mount those metal panels in a welding jig, and weld 4 small pipes to each corner. This will ensure they're not only very rigid, but more importantly, very "true" to each other.
- Finally, weld the angle iron (or, do it before, either way... lol)
That should be the goal for next Shape Charge video you do. 🤞😌🤞🙏♥️
This was a great video, and the perfect Fireworks Show to end 2023 on.
Thanks guys! 🫡
Here's to 2024 🍻
