  1. To expand on Rocketman221's comment, definitely try and get an OLD, OLD scanner, with a gas tube laser, not a diode laser. Mainly because I'm sure watching the laser warm up might be interesting to see in high speed! If nothing else, having a laser tube is just a nifty novelty to have... 😅

It's been sooo long since I had my NES, that I had completely forgotten that the gun's trigger had a hard pull and subsequent snap to it! 😮 My NES was on a bookshelf, which for ~7yr old me was at head level when standing up... So when playing it while seated, would result in a very sore neck! Something my dad coined as "Nintendo Neck", or as time went on, "Dumbtendo Neck" 😅 ... I wonder what became of my Nintendo 🤔 Because my next system was the Genesis (Model 1, with headphone jack and volume slider), which we bought from a guy down the street; therefore, the NES wasn't traded in to get the Genesis... 🤷‍♂️😅
