I think what he means is that a lot of the people fighting in Ukraine right how, aren't proper military personnel. Mostly civilians with a couple months of basic training, just enough to ensure they don't end up shooting themself or their squad mates; instead of career soldiers, who know how to function as a cohesive unit and how to react in various combat situations. Just my take, though. But it would corroborate why it's been such an awkward shitshow for the invaders... Even if not, in my opinion, that's how wars should be fought, and seemingly have been... at least up until modern times. A invades B B's military is sent in; A & B's militaries engage in combat Some civilians get caught inbetween and are collateral damage. But when it's an intentional genocide, that's when civilians become the target as well. However, Putin has done what he can to not make it (initially) look like they were trying to wipe out Ukrainians. Except, with modern weapons and communications, that should be relatively easy since pinpoint accuracy should be possible. Emphasis on should, since the accuracy dissipated by the Russians has been WWI/II in quality (although I feel WWII ordinance teams might've been more accurate... heh). They lay waste to entire towns, "kill em all, let God sort em out" 😞
