  1. Dad worked at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, which has moving walkways. Probably three decades ago when we were flying out, the untied shoelace of the ~6y/o in front of us got sucked in... In the blink of an eye Dad immediately swooped down, grabbed his ankle and yanked. Snapping the lace and freeing the kid's shoe and foot. 🤘😫🤘 While I recall the shoelace did start to cinch down around his foot, it wasn't anything nearly as serious as that guy's shoes. Nevertheless... 10yr old me? Thought his dad was a superhero, who just saved some kid's life! 🥹🦸 😅
