  1. People often get the wrong impression about us metal heads... Metal music is only dark on the surface. We listen to it, not because we are bad or uncaring people, but because it's literally therapy! The songs are dark because it's what the band members have experienced, and hearing about it just helps US cope as well. We love to share our music and experiences. So letting an old metal granny participate in a mosh pit, even if it means there's no moshing going on, WE ARE ALL FOR IT! For that matter, moshing isn't about hurting each other, but about stress relief. I've heard about people who have gotten hurt and the person that did it goes out of their way to get them to safety. 🏳️‍🌈THE MORE YOU KNOW!⭐ [/public service announcement]
