  1. That young guy at around the 4 minute mark, has a prominent future in Putin's neo-Soviet regime. He is smart and quick to spin reality into being excused by lies. His father brainwashed him well... Seriously though, he seems very intelligent so it's a genuine shame his programming is so well ingrained into his thinking that he can't see the truth when he's looking at it. 😕 Or as the old saying goes: "cannot see the forest for the trees" The second guy, who "doesn't pay attention to the war"... My immediate response was: "don't worry, you'll quickly be brought up to speed after you arrive there next month! 👍" But that thought took a backseat once he mentioned the "russophobia", that has "gone on for 20 years now." I wonder if there's a connection to that... 🤔🤔🤔 Perhaps it is because that was around the time Chechnya was sized? Then, every few years, Russia would pick a new fight with someone, somewhere? OR, maybe it has to do with a certain man who was elected president of Russia roughly 22 years ago (so... "about 20" lol), and foreign countries started to dislike how he was conducting himself? ...And considering how he has conducted himself ever since, it has not given people a reason to change their mind? Which leaves these "russophobes" having a blanketing dislike for any Russian, due them feeling that Russians should have put a stop to Putin. 😏 THAT being said, I'm not saying those are MY opinions. I'm just passing devils advocate. 😉 My opinion is that there are lots of good, sensible people in Russia still. Those who did not stand for Putin's invasion and could leave, did so as soon as possible. Those who felt that way but could manage to uproot their life, stayed... up until mobilization, which made it a life or death situation. HOWEVER some still remained. I don't fault them, either. It's hard. But then there are "those" Russians... The ones that think like Putin, hate Ukraine, the "West", etc... They have bought into the propaganda and are set in their ways, believing the nonsense they are told, no matter how absurd it is. These Russians are the ones who are maintaining Russia's bad name, and have caused the current wave of "russophobia" in Europe. Going on vacations with 'Z' stickers on their car, then getting mad when that country's locals or police ask them to either remove the sticker it, or leave. That's what the guy with dual citizenship doesn't understand. ... At least in my opinion. 🤷‍♂️

  2. @1:24 As an American, allow me to explain how one could not love where they were born and raised... The land, the animals, my relatives and friends? Sure, I love them. Yes, these are all things which are "American", but only they only make up a PART OF everything needed to call it The United States... That other part consists of our way of life, our government (and laws), our cities & states, our corporations, etc. It is all of THOSE things which, recently, have "failed" my country and her people. - Our "way of life" is to blame because it fostered all the crap going on in my country. (allowed it to happen) - Or "government (and laws)" are to blame because they have lost focus of what is best for the people, and instead are making things better only for.... well, I'm not really sure, because everyone gets screwed! The politicians don't feel/experience the effects of their actions simply because their job entitles them to benefits that shield them from those effects. - Or "cities/states" are allowed their own control over certain things, which makes it so they are able to SUBSTANTIALLY change how life is for people that live there. In other words, every state is quite similar to a country. THEN on top of this, each city and town are able to further enforce certain things differently, making life rather different even between people who only live across the street! - Or "corporations" are to blame, and this goes back to our "way of life", because they have all become only about 'money' instead of the product they make, or the service they provide. They no longer care about their customer's thoughts or opinions, and whether they are happy or not. The companies have gotten to be so big, and that their product or service is so necessary, that we have no choice to use their service or buy their products. There is little we (people) can do about it, because our government doesn't care enough, because our politicians are funded by these companies. 😔 As a result of all of that... I might be an American... But I DO NOT love my country!! All because most of "my country" doesn't give a shit about me, my needs, or my quality of life. It is no different for me, than it is for a child whose mother does not care for them. Just because the mother gave birth to that child, why should that child have to love them if they are not treated well? THAT is how you can not love, but can even hate, your motherland! HOWEVER!! At the end of the day, how my country treats me (her people) and her neighbors... IS FAR BETTER than how_Russia_ treats you (her people) and her neighbors! (I am not saying we treat Mexico very well, but, we've acted far better towards them, than Russia has towards MANY of her neighbors within the last 20 years!) So you should not love your country. Russia takes your family/friends and makes them fight a war that your own people do not want. Russia makes you afraid to say what you feel or think. Russia throws you in prison if anything you DO say happens to go against what they think. Russia feeds you nothing but lies about what actually goes on in the world, about what they are doing, about why they are doing it, and even about the results of what happened. Russia makes you pay for things, then says they are using it to improve X, Y, or Z, but allows every person responsible to steal some of the money for themself. Instead of maintaining your military and its hardware, its supplies, its machines... the money is spent on MULTIPLE yachts that cost 680,000,000,000 rubel EACH! (or more! and that is the correct amount of zeros!) I say all of this, NOT because I hate Russians. Even with this war and the horrible things that have happened... I DO NOT hate the people of Russia! I know that this war is "Vladimir Vladimirovich's War" and does not reflect how _all of_Russia's people think – although, clearly the man at 1:24 does think that way, but, there are racist Americans as well, so I won't hold that against everyone! I know the lies he's told your people, and even those who believe them... I do not hate them, either. It is not their fault for being so compelled to believe what their own government has said. But, the world needs Russians to recognize what is actually going on in the world, by believing what your fellow people are telling you in private. And that despite what President Putin says, "the west" does not hate the people of Russia, nor is our reason for uniting with Ukraine because of a silly desire to want Russia to collapse (Putin is doing a better job at that, than we ever could, and all by himself). ✌️ (sorry for any typos that I missed)

  4.  @MrKotBonifacy  I wish the greasing of wheels worked like that here in the US. Good god do we ever have our priorities screwed up, when even if the "little guy" DOES have funds and/or knows the right people.... Your money's no good. Actually, I guess I've slightly misspoke. Not really greasing of wheels I guess, but a "willing to pay what's needed, to get shit done", in a legitimate way. Like, if I wanted to procure (again, legally) the needed hardware and supplies to extended internet service, or upgrade the hardware in a box so that we could be served..... AT&T isn't interested. lol 🤨 If, say, you got it anyways and wanted to just "do it all without their blessing" –ignoring the fact it would require various construction permits– well, now AT&T is interested.... Or rather "interested", because they now have an interest in taking you to court lol OR, like here in Tennessee just a few years back... The Electric Company in the Chattanooga area (which I'm ~15mi outside of their service area), decided they'd put their foot in the ISP arena, given they have all the needed infrastructure to run and install the cabling. They offered the first consumer Gigabit fiber in the US (around 2010 I believe), and arguably affordable at like ~$350/mo. Anyways, "Big Internet" corporations were NONE too pleased that they just had their lunch stolen... Not that the big providers were making ANY effort to service locations, but blah-blah, mafia mentality. "This is my turf, seeeee!" Which this note kicked off more interest by other towns and Electric Co-Ops, they all wanted to do similar for their citizens and consumers! Oooh no. Big Internet wouldn't have it. So they got their lobbiests out in full force, greased wheels and lined pockets. Soon enough, a law was passed to forbid new co-op internet servicing! Mind you, Big Internet still want going to do anything, and this ensured they didn't need to, either. Thankfully that didn't last but ~5yrs before being repealed, and fiber IS rolling out in places it otherwise never would have, in completely unserved areas. Unfortunately even then, it's slow. Been waiting 3 or 4 years now since our Electric Co-Op announced it'd be providing fiber. Don't get me wrong, they ARE serving, but where and when seems to literally be them throwing darts to determine it... 😕 Alas, in Russia, I can see this going two ways. First, I imagine that no one would give a crap if you went about buying, installing, and serving internet.... RIGHT up until its seen you're making a buck. At which point I imagine that someone will move their foot in the way, to ensure your endeavors are stepping on their toes... Then 💢👌 «snap» (no finger-snap emote; so pretend!) What's yours, ends up being theirs, and on top of it being taken from you, now you'd be paying them for service. lol So I guess in that sense, I'm... glad??... that I can't just go and do what's needed, as I don't have to worry about it being so easily stolen from me. 🥴😒 I do feel that the 'state of mind' part, definitely also applies to certain elements of American life, insofar as some things you just have to accept –change your state of mind– will forever be outside of your control (or seemingly at least). 🤞 for certain ways changing, in America and Russia... As we both have 'oligarchs', which in both cases they have far too much sway over how things are done and what they can get away with. In the end, the people are who get the raw end of it. (although I fully recognize that Russians are in a far worse way at the moment, and lack of internet pales in comparison to being mobilized 😔) I'll be sure to check out your recommendations 😊👍 Thanks.
