I appreciate that they named it the (K)F-21.... It's like a budget F-22, except that's actually a REALLY big compliment! I'd recently been curious what the F-22 would be like if it lacked that stupid-expensive and performance limiting Radar Absorbing Material, albeit while being otherwise unchanged — a Gen 4.925 I guess. This doesn't have the internal bays, nor the engines for that matter, but it'll still be interesting to see how it stacks up. Well done, Korea! 👍👍 And kudos to Poland, for that matter!

@arrafi204 I just meant that I appreciated the coincidence of it being called that. I hadn't known what their reasoning was behind it, but it's a good thing they didn't base it off of the year of its first test flight, which was 2022! heh

@tylerclayton6081 My "Gen 4.925" was referencing the F-22 sans its R.A.M. and not this KF-21, just to clarify. Although, in reference to the KF-21... "G4.75" feels a little more fitting, given the entire development of it has taken place in the 21st Century. As opposed to, from what I can tell, the other G4.5 aircraft having at least one foot firmly planted in the 20th. Still, you're right. Gen 4.5 is technically the catch-all category for anything decidedly not Gen 5, yet is still far superior to the Gen 4s.
