I sadly had to correct my mom, who thought Butch and Suni were stranded on the ISS, and that it was some "big emergency." I told her there was no such emergency (a "big problem", but not quite an emergency) and a Crew Dragon has been up there for awhile now, which is their ride home. That was all before this recent kerfuffle, though, but still... she voted for 👌🍊👌 and my point here is that there's undoubtedly many in that circle who WILL believe that it's all Joe's fault and he dropped the ball, blah blah blah. 😮‍💨😞

@quillaja If you're saying what I think you are, there's indeed been issues like that. Apparently some were said to glean info solely based on the computer's HDD activity LEDs on the case (mind your, this would've been a desktop or laptop), as it was optically observed remotely, but... I think that was misreported and is referring to another case which had someone that has access to said system, installing software that basically did exactly what these guys came up with. The case LEDs were used to blink and communicate, allowing into to be stolen. Pretty sure this was all in the mid-00s, so my recollection of two cases could very well be the same case, but later followed up on with the latter info... 🤷‍♂️😅 Would've either read it on ArsTechnica or [H]ard|OCP, but it feels more like Ars type of news.
