My thinking, well my hope as I have no data to back this up, is that while Starship might not attempt to be recovered... that SpaceX may still execute the """landing""" program....... there just won't be anything beneath it to actual, you know, land on. Therefore, less of a hover-slam, more of a hover-splash (or hover-kersploosh). I think this would be the most ideal thing to do, all things considered, since it gets them more data on their procedure, with zero risk to infrastructure. Or am I waaay offbase, and this would never be allowed by the governing bodies that be? 😕

  2.  @StevePemberton2  Good. Glad to hear!! Was happy I was able to tune in for the live landing tests and witness that part of history, so I can't wait for this next chapter! Just wish it could come sooner, as it is going to be a sight to behold, for sure. Actually, x3! Takeoff, and two simulated landing attempts! 🤘
