It's easy to hate from the sidelines, when you're not the ones innovating. (I say to both spectators, and the actual rocket industry, since they laughed at their plans with Falcon)

If India pulls off creating a human launch system, will their launch location allow them the capability of reaching the Chinese Space Station? I only ask since I figure it'd be a humorous thorn in Russia's side, since the "mighty" Russia isn't capable. 😅 ("isn't," or if they can, would require insane effort, based on prior vids by Scott)

@Alex-og3ev My use of mighty was tongue in cheek, of course. Just that we're finding that Russia trends to glorify their capabilities and abilities. That aside, I just recalled Scott having said, in one of the early vids after it was all set up on orbit, something to the effect of the location of the Chinese Space Station basically put it outside of Russia's launch capabilities. That they had actually changed the orbit from being in one that WOULD HAVE given Russia better access to it. If I recall correctly, one aspect of it is that China decided to raise the orbit from what was originally planned. So it was a combination of inclination and orbit height, that made it almost impossible for Russia to reach it... But you've offered a great point, that Coins could certainly allow Russia to traverse their country, to facilitate reaching it. I thought I hadn't considered. Whether or not such a maneuver would still afford them the fuel and delta V... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@Mallchad Isn't it only 3 engines getting lit? (sincere question) I thought, and I could easily be wrong, that on a typical launch it was only the 3 atmospheric Raptors that get used after staging, and that the Vac Raps wouldn't be? They may indeed be asking for problems if they're planning to ignite all 6... 😅🥵 But, again: nothing ventured, nothing gained! I kinda feel like the alternative, that we would've seen on 4/20, is also asking for issues. Has that sort of maneuver ever been attempted by anyone? If so: successfully? (again, sincerely asking)

@Mallchad Sorry, I apologize for the mix up. My ending question wasn't about the hot-staging, but in regards to the "flick" maneuver that this hot-staging is replacing.
