And as you can see from your first reply (as well as others replies I've seen), it's WELL PLACED, as sadly Scott's video is now rife with deniers. 😮‍💨 They can't seem to understand that the difference now vs back then, is that there were humans controlling the lander, whereas now it's software that is not only fallible, but probably not capable of massively dynamic on-the-fly corrections. It's the difference between human car drivers and autonomous ones... The SIMPLEST situations have caused the latter to glitch out! (there's was one where a whole fleet of autonomous cars had accumulated in an intersection, unable to navigate due to some software but, causing a self-driving traffic jam) So, yea, just because we've had issues landing doesn't mean we've never been there! However, I don't expect the change any of their minds, which is fine... that's their prerogative. 😅

  3. Scott, now that you have a pilot's license, I think you should cover another venture that Armadillo was involved in: Rocket Racing League They even released a PC game/demo, which was pretty fun. This was an aircraft reaching league that, instead of propeller/turbine propulsion, used Armadillo's rocket engine(s)! If I remember correctly, since fuel is very limited, this required lots of gliding and engine relights, to allow for multi-lap racing. (used the same inflatable pylons as other racing leagues; "gates" I think they're termed?) Video could discuss the numerous challenges and subsequent demise, along with you playing the game and using footage from it. 😊
