  17. Daughters need to be raised to treat men well as well. Also it’s hard for attitudes on sex to change when emotions surrounding it differ so greatly between sexes - for instance men don’t place the same value on sex as men as women - that’s why you see women saying they can’t consent if they’ve been drinking or they can’t say no to people with higher “power dynamics” than them - those things wouldn’t occur to men to feel or think because if they had sex it wouldn’t have so much meaning and possible trauma surrounding it. If women want to have casual sex and have no one care then they have to drop the attitude that sex is such a big deal - because until they do pp will treat it as being more important to them - and why shouldn’t they when like I just said - women act like it’s more important to them. That will never happen tho - with the invention of the pill women tried to have casual sex like men but they failed because of their own instincts/attitudes and now you see quasi Victorian sexual attitudes from feminist women about sex where they see the man as solely responsible for the sexual act.

But Im not wrong, in most mammal species as far as the actual act of mating goes - the female tho often drawing the male to them in some way (vocalization, smell etc) is usually unsure of the male. Its natural when the male is usually larger and more capable of violence. BUT even tho its natural it sometimes leads to suspicion in humans where none is warranted. This is easily observable and shouldnt be offensive in any way.

And sex can still occur between a person whos drinking and a person whos not and be consensual - for instance in a relationship you may get one person who will drink sometimes while the other wont at all.
