Its sad. We really shouldnt be encouraging it by glamourising the occasional success stories - the stats say most wont be

@haleyg666 Its not about how great the teen Moms feel they're doing - its about how the children turn out.The reality is a far greater percentage of teen moms will split from the Dad (if they where ever actually really together) and theyll grow up being raised part time by the Mom and in large part by the grandparents and bounce around that way. Its well documented that single parent households lead to worse outcomes for children and that money struggles and lack of stability also lead to worse outcomes (and its a fact that being a young teen mom makes women more likely to be in a lower socio economic level and to stay there) when you combine these two things the potential problems multiply (and thats not taking into account the lower maturity level of a lot of teen Moms - and dont say thats not the case just because you dont think its true of you). Its also true that those who become teen moms in the first place are more likely to have mental health problems which again effects children negatively. But anyway, all I said was this shouldnt be encouraged - and you pretty much agreed with that so why are you commenting as tho you disagree?

Yeah but hes probably the crazy kid whos 3 years older than everyone else in the grade

You might want to get a move on if you do want one at all - no offense, but fertility doesnt last forever and you dont just want to settle with the types of guys you can get at 35 or whatever

@phoob2011 except 13 and 14 year olds arent women. Theyre girls

Its just one short video. We have no idea what kind of Moms they are on the day to day. This shouldnt be encouraged

Dont encourage this. The statistics on the problems kids born out of wedlock to teen moms have arent great. I hope it works out for these girls but dont kid yourself about the reality. Its easy to present yourself in a positive light in a youtube video - but who knows how they are day to day with the kids.

@molerat4960 The reality is that for children born out of wedlock to young moms the future is statistically grim. I hope they turn out all right, but the stats say most of them wont - and it's because of the bad choices these girls made that led them to be pregnant at that age. They shouldnt be looked up to.

@silveryfeather208 You can tell yourself that if you want, but its what many happy people have done. It isnt a goood idea if your super picky and will resent anyone who isnt a fantasy dream guy tho.

@aj3706 I mean we dont know what she was like with her classmates before that tho

Got nothing to do with being a muslim and everything to do with feminist inspired no fault divorce laws which encourage single parent hood and family break up. Any society and culture which develops to a high point of prosperity and prolonged stability will go thru this. Even Muslims

@spring7643 Statistics are Women initiate 85% of divorces and most arent for reasons of abuse. That doesnt sound like its men having trouble sticking with a relationship with the other parent. Plenty of men get divorced by their wives when they dont want it and are cut out the kids lives and made to pay child support. Child support was created in the old days of fault based divorce where the spouse who wronged the other didnt end up with the kids. Now days its often used by women who choose to kick their husbands out when they get bored with them, then use child custody laws to keep the kids and make the fathers pay to boot. Child support laws are for women by women and are sexist

Maybe youd have less respect if you know what they were up to at 13 lol

Nah, its not a good idea to encourage this as a lifestyle choice

Jac She told you a real story. Why do some people just have to answer everything with "but its soo much harder for women"? You have no idea if Teen Dads get more flak than Teen moms and whats more theres no need for you to make it a competition. Sad attitude.

@TeamTaylor Its not ignorant to suggest underage teens who most likely are fairly immature shouldnt be encouraged to have kids. I dont know how old you were when you had a kid - if its 17 or 18 then I dont care, but at 14 or 15 thats too damn young and you know it. Maybe you will succeed - I hope you do, but my point was that young teen moms who appear on Youtube may have far less positive things going on that come from being very young moms than they show on youtube. And I stand by it. And furthermore even if one of the parents is mature at 15 or 16 or whatever then the chances then its still more likely that the father wont be if they're the same age (and if theyre not the same age its actually much much worse)

@summerrain11399 Yes a few more years. Waiting until 35 like the comment I replied to was saying is risky. If you dont care either way its fine, but if you for sure want kids its not very wise.
