@viktoria9585 It's the first thing that came to her mind if she doesn't believe he's capable of assualting someone, because she doesn't think that the worst that could happen is he be falsely accused by someone after a drunken one night stand or the like. It happens and many women believe if they have a hook up where both parties are wasted or where they don't get the relationship they wanted that they've been a victim in some way. Which is false but that's the way they think. Best for Mom to make her son aware of the mindset of some women.

Because she doesn't see him as capable of assualting someone so the first thing she thinks of is to protect him from false accusations after a one night stand or mutually drunken hookup etc. - Which more and more women are being encouraged through feminist thinking to see as assualt - even though it's entirely a mutual choice.

Yeah because no one agrees on it. No means no vs only holy hell yes means yes, people should be able to go to bars and have sex vs impaired consent is not consent (even when mutual lol). There is no consensus and the divide between men and womens opinions is vaaast.

She's assuming there is no victim and the false is claim because she doesn't see her son as capable of assualting someone. duh.

Mom knows. One drunken hookup that ends in regret by the woman and your out of college or whatever if not punished by law. Sad that some women behave that way. Makes things harder for the real victims of which there are many.

@Kelly-ps7oi Why would you want to?

@Kelly-ps7oi Most boys learn everything from kids at school so such conversations are irrelevant and weird.

@Kelly-ps7oi I'd say they were and are usually pretty accurate in the essentials. Besides, if you start telling kids about it earlier to get ahead of that then those kids are just going to tell younger kids and siblings earlier as well. There's no getting around it, the kids will spread round what they know before the adults do in most cases, it's inevitable.
