@GirlDo3 That was never the feminists goal. The feminists goal changes year to year and they have no real goal. They used to be for emancipation but you never hear that anymore. They definetly were never about celebrating stay at home moms though at any point.

@evelynolson5731 Actually stay at home mothers were more appreciated before feminism - feminism changed it so they were less appreciated.

Even with 4 months of maternity leave if you go back to work your still going to be working long hours and raising children, there's no way around that. Hell your kids won't even remember that time you were on maternity leave by the time they're toddlers.

@margaritasytcheva2730 It's much easier to have one partner who works (at least mostly) and one who does the lions share of childcare. Trying to have two people who share both and have to constantly arrange it to work between them is just difficult and such marriages are prone to fail easily.
