  28.  @minhha7826  Of course - you could get someone completely insane (not saying she is) and delusional, even schizophrenic who thinks they're completely sane when its apparent to everyone else they're not - this is what I mean by its not for her to say how its affected her mentally - that the judgement of others in our lives of our mental state often supersedes our own. So in this context men she has relationships with are qualified to judge her mental state at least as far as they see it and seeing as it affects them they are totally justified in doing so - as is she to them. She can think of her own mental state however she wants but it doesnt make it the truth and the truth of her mental state is what everyone else has to live with. So yeah, they can judge it.

Do you not notice that men react differently to women in some ways to some things? Is this wrong? Is it sexist of you to notice it? New puppy love doesnt last forever - people have families, stability and a reason to stay together (if neither find out). They are happy - just not the teenage idea of perfect happiness. Life can be long and things happen - if your relationship is pretty good its usually not worth blowing it up over these things. There used to be a saying about it "dont embarrass me" which was kind of an unwritten law

Would it really be worth them revealing theyd both had a couple of affairs over a 50 year relationship and then breaking up? What would that help? Most people dont want to know in the right circumstances. Im not talking about newly weds here, life is long for many relationships. I feel sorry for your partner if you have such a school girl view of love being like some everlasting teenage crush you read about in Twilight. Thats not an attitude that mature adults capable of building a lasting relationship over many years with one person have.
