  2. The whole idea of peace talks is meaningless in this situation. Putin needs to get out of Ukraine. He has no business being there. The Budapest Memorandum shows there is no point in making deals with Russia.

  3. Easy for non-jewish survivors to say. If we could ask those who died in concentration camps, the picture would look adifferently. It was mentioned often enough that people knew what was going on in the camps but just didn't even acknowledge to themselves. The main difference is that Russians don't discriminate, as mentioned in the video. They treat their own as badly as the occupied people.

  11. @richardwright4265  The odds aren't against us. If something is, it's ourselves. Europe can be much stronger and Russia is a completely broke failed state on the brink of collapse. Trump had to bring in US troops to Ukraine to help Russia against Ukraine to make the odds against the EU.

  13. @georgescoresby  That's the way it would happen anyway. Still, a central coordination is important. There are many things individual countries can't manage on their own and duplicate efforts need to be avoided. Also laws and agreements need to be upheld, like deficit limits.
