  2. You conveniently ignore, why she was kicked out. Because she resisted. The right uses enough dirty tactics to get their way themselves. Some pushing against the opponents isn't automatically bad. That's part of the game and always has been. The difficulty is to see if it's a fight for a cause or a fight just for power. People who criticise here for not going far enough aren't any better than the worst of the progressives. On the left, everyone who doesn't compete in being more left than anyone else, are the bad guys. You do the same with "right". I don't see any notable difference between these two.

  4. ​ @thepagecollective Just that it's not about conservatives. I was always clearly left on most topics, but now I'm the enemy. If you show no serious effort to be more left than anyone else, no matter what, you are the enemy. That affects everyone who wants to form his own opinion about stuff.

  8. ​ @jem77469 The left discarded religion because it was just used for virtue signalling and as a power tool. I think there is nothing wrong with religion itself but what many people do with religion is just bad - right or left doesn't matter. It's also important to distinguish between what the Bible teaches and what the Catholic Church teaches. There is quite a gap. Discarding religion turned out not to be better than misusing it after all.

  22. ​ @ecowifey4603 rather the opposite. Left and right spread a lot of bullshit. It's never clear if some idea is left or right. Twist a few words a bit and a left idea becomes a right one or vice versa. Claiming this is an easy black or white decision doesn't indicate much insight.

  24. ​ @thepagecollective I was always clearly left but still got cancelled. This ideology is killing itself because they know only one direction. Further left. At some point everyone has to get out who sometimes wants to have his own opinion. They found some leverage in feminism, anti fashism, anti homophobie movements, but they are too unhinged. There is still a big danger. If they find a charismatic leader, everything can happen. But also the opposite direction. The left is so unhinged that conservatives now see an unhinged candidate like Trump as the savior. It's rather unlikely this goes back to "normal" silently.

  28.  @joelhungerford8388  There were several comments about her writing about her mistakes and apologizing. I haven't read it myself though. "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." She grew up in a certain environment and was brainwashed for 25 or more years and still concluded this is bullshit. And you think she needs to be criticised. I think you just try to show off that the ideology you got brainwashed with was at least somewhat right once.
