  1. Car industry has a hard time in the remaining EU as well. Brexit was good for EU though. If UK ever joins again it will be a bit humbler and more valuable member.

  2. I'd want the UK back, but somehow I suspect they need quite a bit more time to find themselves before they can make a concious and convincing decision. They also would have quite a weak negotiation position right now, but it's like buying stocks, it could also become much worse with inaction. If I would believe, that politicians were capable of spinning advanced plots far into the future, I would believe they came up with Brexit, just to make the UK accept the Euro, which they probably would never have without leaving and rejoining.
