It's about keeping psychopathic superiors happy

@doublecheckityt It's called depression and burnout and no, telling them to get over it and just do something, won't work.

@jai-kk5uu I can't imagine why you would think a penalty could help someone get his life in order. These people are probably in this situation because of severe setbacks by people who tried to exploit them or otherwise hurt them deeply or some mental health issues. Also about 16% of the people have an IQ below 85 which disqualifies them for every job. There is probably a higher percentage of people that barely qualify for a paid job and we worked hard to get rid of all low qualification jobs. Jailing people for not performing well and trying to survive in a world that is designed to make it especially hard for them is probably one of the most malicious things humans can do.

The system isn't the problem. The rich and powerful rig any system. Trying to find a better system or trying to get one of the known ones like Communism implemented won't solve a single problem. People who complain about capitalism just have no clue what they are talking about.

@jai-kk5uu That might just produce more homeless people and crime rate going up.

@jai-kk5uu Putting them in jail is much more expensive than some unemployment or whatever aid so that they can take care of themselves. This also makes it more likely that they will find their way back to a job - without a criminal record or homelessness. Not all criminals are caught and the victims won't enjoy it either. Those who do work, work better if they can feel safe at home and are well rested every morning. So supporting struggling people is a win for everyone. The state destroyed the family structures that supported the weaker members, so it's only fair to offer some compensation.

In the end it will take as long as FSD 🙄

They need to know how much shit you are willing to put up with. If you don't make it through the hiring process you definitely won't last a month under the load of shit that hits you after you got hired.

Getting a PhD doesn't make you smarter

The US just can't let go of slavery

I'd say good managers add great value, bad managers add great damage. The problem is once you get one bad manager this starts spreading because bad managers don't get kicked out, they are rather like cockoo's egg or a disease.

@512TheWolf512 Looks like they use this a training ground for rookies🙄

When you are an incompetent leader and only hire the cheapest workers, you need to follow a new trend every one or two years to distract from your incompetence and to make it look like you are on top of things.

The question will be obsolete soon when there are only EVs to buy. Trump won't be able to stop that and trying to do that will harm the US economy dramatically.

@Code7Unltd Greece is doing quite well nowadays from what I heard recently.

They just have no clue what they are doing and when business climate changes, firing is considered to support stock prices. No manager wants to risk his bonus.

This opens the doors for competition, for example from China, who focus more on providing value to customers. Tariffs can only prolong the suffering.

What can we do with all the incompetent managers? They won't do any better as normal employees.

I think we intentionally make bubbles so we can get excited about seeing them burst.

@healydevlin1930 such a government bank would soon be running more fraud than regular business.

Luck brings you at the right position at the right time, but without intelligence most won't be able to make anything of the situation.
1
Because we only promote the biggest frauds and they want others to blame if something goes wrong?

I think the main problem is, that smart people still want have the right to make mistakes. The easiest way to learn something new, especially with the internet, is to say what you know and get criticised. I think it's quite a painful but highly efficient way. Knowledgeable people are used to this pain and care more about gaining knowledge than about the suffering and public humiliation. The uproar is mostly about the audacity that they risk public humiliation which is where most people would prefer to die than experience this.

One has to apply to 500 job ads to find one that is about a real job and not just a fake ad to test the market.
