  6. Please tell us where we get all the fuel for ICE cars for the next 100 years? Fossil fuel supply is finite. Please don't mention some dumb bullshit like efuels or hydrogen. Now solid state batteries started going into production. There is a ton of development going on. Just because EVs aren't the perfect option for everyone yet, doesn't mean they won't be in the future. That companies like Ford are losing money while Tesla makes money just shows that Ford are a bunch of dinosaurs who forgot how to innovate. If they die they just make room for something better.

  9. Extremists usually require submission to their view without questioning. I'd always consider them the least worthy. I'm sure not intentionally violating what the Bible teaches is enough and even this would not be sufficient to exclude someone.

The God has no agenda and doesn't intervene in our fate with specific actions. Those who told us otherwise just made all that crap up to sell religion to children or dumb people.

They know what removing breasts means, but they might not know how far reaching the decision is and how untrustworthy many people are that pretend to be well-meaning but only care about personal gain, ideology, wielding power, ... So they might have been ill-advised and at that age it's important to protect them.

Everything else like Jesus, values, commandments were discovered as well and are subordinate to God. They are the way to have a meaningful life. The deity in the sky should be nonsense even to the most religious people.

If a more sane interpretation of God were used, it would be fine to "worship" God. There is nothing wrong with worshiping life for example. If God wasn't explained in such a stupid manner, there would be no place for Atheists. Then we would just discuss where the values taught in the Bible are not up-to-date anymore. Currently the Church is protecting a 2000y old state with all its power and wonders why people look elsewhere. The problem I see with consumerism and drug abuse is, we learned that religion is just a bunch of dumb fairy tales. That is very convenient to all who depend on revenue growth. After decades as Atheist I came to the conclusion that the Bible is actually a great book (with help from Dr. Jordan Peterson). It's just how it's taught that is dumb. There is a lot of value in a whole country upholding the same values otherwise where is the point. We see how we all drift apart from each other.

I think the Bible speaks a lot in symbols and I think "God" (and many other things) was just interpreted sloppily, perhaps to make a good business model out of it or to appeal to people who want it to be dead simple. I don't think this was intended by the writers. The Bible wouldn't have survived this long if there weren't more value to it than what is told in church or religion classes. Lord of the rings and all other stories just repeat the same old stuff, of course you can get some of if out again as well. Afterlife, heaven, hell, resurrection, ... that's all taught as it should be taken literally, but almost nothing makes sense this way. Dr. Peterson's Bible series show a way that makes much more sense.

Biden is far beyond what would be acceptable, but Trump just consists of all characteristics a president should never have.

They take things apart just to see what they are made of, like chimpanzees who rip off limbs from members of rival groups if they catch them near their territory.   36. Believing in God is not the right way to put it in my opinion. You should accept that God exists. If you understand what God is, it's not a question of believing. God is not a being, being is God. There is no need to believe in being. Your existence is proof enough. The Bible is just the collected wisdom about how to conduct your life to get a life worth living. It's a description of what smart people observed and found to be working well. You can either try to figure it out all by yourself (one lifetime is way too short to accomplish that) or you can trust that they knew what they were talking about and adopt their ways.

Extremists who are only satisfied when an idea was pushed to its limits are consistently bad. As soon as reality and facts need to be twisted and people need to accept them to belong, it's a bad ideology, like currently where we need to accept that men can be women or that laws compel us to say things that we don't want to say.

  46. That's just because of the nonsense we are taught about God. God is something derived from observing ourselves. It's knowledge and understanding. If you believe you exist, then there is no reason to doubt God exists. Not believing in God is like not believing in Animals while petting your cat. What it's all about is, trusting that the way the Bible describes how to conduct your life will lead to a life worth living, because to figure it out all by yourself, one lifetime is way too short and it's also stupid to make all the painful mistakes yourself when others already figured out what works and what doesn't.
