It's rather a lot of pressure to do meaningless and pointless tasks faster every day.

Happyness is to not depend on other people. $1M helps. Then the dependency is only transactional, which is bad enough

Showing anger has great effect on others that can be life-changing positive. I have seen it countless times that people can only be convinced to do sometime if you show them anger. Otherwise they think it's easier to just ignore you. There is no need for real anger. Just pretending is enough and probably the better option.

@JoeARedHawk275 It depends more on how much time you are able and willing to spend for that. Intelligence helps of course. Most of the time it's better to just not believe anyone or anything and just do your thing. There are millions of people who spread misinformation as their day job (propaganda, shady "news" agencies, influencers, "scientists", ...). How should you be able to sift through all that. If you want to figure out the truth, you better be a trust fund baby.

Rumminating about the past is to find out what lessons can be learner from past mistakes to avoid repeating them in the future. It's just difficult to let go because the lession couldn't be extracted yet. Sur, it can get pathologicaly but I think it's good to be aware what's going on.

Interesting that tigers are hungrier than snakes🤣

Funny that you take criticism at the workplace as example. It usually IS meant personally to attack people's self esteem, to make them afraid to lose the job, to make them work harder, to discourage them from asking for higher pay.
