  1. I agree with you about failure, that it can be a learning experience and promote re-evaluation of purpose. In their case , failure of their public "game " will be annihilation..... because it was based on harming others to build themselves up, it is a result of a failure to be honest , genuine and sincere. Their aims were purely selfish, self aggrandising. To be a success ones aimes and desires need a firmer , broader foundation than " self "... And from all accounts Harry and M. need to learn to " work"
