If the most powerful people in the world were serious in fighting global warming, they would've provided much safer, cheaper and convenient public transportation. Unfortunately, this is almost impossible to be done in an extremely dangerous and individualistic country like the US

@Aw3someOpZ Most citizens in those huge countries use public transportation and small cars to commute. But most citizens in the Wild West prefer to use big cars, to avoid violent crimes, stray bullets and waiting time

@outerlands3382 Go to some coastal areas in the metropolis of the developing archipelago countries and see the sea water level as compared to the ground

@oo-jq5cl All countries/ people are responsible to slow down global warming and the most feasible solution to fight it is by using public transportation instead of using private vehicles for all daily activities. This is possible in more communal countries such as China, India, Indonesia, England and European countries, but it's not possible in the Wild West

@earthervsearther5978 Yes. Sea water level is rising globally, but it's more apparent in coastal areas

@JeffreySmith7777 Sea water level is rising globally, but it's more apparent in coastal areas

@oo-jq5cl It's not possible in the Wild West because of politics, culture, lawyers and violent crimes there, but the citizens and the government should make it happen due to the world's global warming problem. There are too many private vehicles in the huge countries I mentioned, but their governments could enforce public transportation because of their authorities' power over the citizens and the cities in those countries are generally much safer than the ones in the US

@JeffreySmith7777 No need to listen to the scientists. Just go to some coastal areas in the metropolis of the developing archipelago countries and see the sea water level as compared to the ground

@earthervsearther5978 I can still see my comments

@JamesSmith-qs4hx According to the Environmental Protection Agency, CO2 accounted for about 79% of all the US greenhouse gas emissions from human activities

@oo-jq5cl There are 286.9 million vehicles registered on the US roads as compared to merely 74.5 million vehicles registered in India, which is atrocious if we compare those countries' populations. The development of a large amount of infrastructure will increase carbon emissions in a short-term period, but the usage of public transportation will reduce a huge amount of carbon emissions over the long-term as long as the public transportation don't get vandalized

@oo-jq5cl China has more than 1 billion people, whereas the US has just around 330 million. Furthermore, China government would most likely be able to heavily limit private vehicles and enforce public transportation usage, which is something the US will never be able to do because of many factors I have never said the US is the only one that's responsible, but the analysis from the World Resources Institute shows that the US as a single country produced 27 percent of the total carbon dioxide emissions of the world from 1850 to the year 2021. No other single country was close and the US even outdistanced all the nations of the European Union combined

@oo-jq5cl According to an analysis from Carbon Brief about national responsibility for historical CO2 emissions from 1850 - 2021, the US has released more than 20% of the global 509 GtCO2 since 1850 followed by China with 11%, Russia with 7%, Brazil with 5% and Indonesia with 4%. The ones who released less than 12% historically will be able to heavily limit private vehicles and enforce public transportation usage, but the US will never be able to do it
