I don't think owning a shop in the country is worth it anymore, because the violent criminals will never fully pay for their victims' permanent financial and physical damages. Their worst scenario is getting free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers

Morality is at an all-time low in the country
26
Open carry is legal in Maine without a permit. It should've been the safest place on the planet, but it's not
17
Good if the tech could keep fast food prices low in Cali. I hope it will eventually work at other restaurants as well
16
In other countries, people must go through a metal detector gate before they can enter a shopping mall
13
A 13-year-old boy is old enough to understand about the consequences of his actions, so the minimum punishable age must be lowered. And send his parent(s) to jail
12
Firearms brought from Nevada. Could be stolen or bought there
9
State-owned farms would be the best method to reduce homelessness and to feed poor people, although it would likely trigger backlash from private farm owners. The US retail stores generate about 16 billion pounds of food waste every year, thanks to the free-market economy
8
They're so used to it in the firearm-infested country
5
Each land belongs to no one, but it's dominated by the strongest group in the area
4
A dishwasher in Massachusetts could buy a house in the Philippines after working for three years. No risk, no gain

American

Does she have to stay in a dangerous country like the US
3
Violent criminals stole legal weapons from pawnshops/ [chuting] range/ stores/ the owners and some of them bought it from unlicensed makers. Extreme accessibility of firearms in the US is a double-edged sword and it's like a chicken & egg situation, because weapon thefts are rampant
2
Imagine if he had it, since it's available like candies
2
Rage against the machine, because AI is taking their jobs? Can't they behave like most of today's Japanese?
2
Was the Lord sleeping when the woman killed a five-year-old baby brutally in his home?
2
The Lord didn't do anything when millions of people were brutally killed by natural disasters and in wars, let alone this small incident. He lied about not testing people beyond their limits
2
Hardworking people can't even do their jobs without being attacked and harassed. Many taxpayers have been injured, crippled and killed, yet the survivors have to pay for the inmates' free meals, healthcare and shelter!
2
It might be someone like John Connor who came from the future to save humanity from AI apocalypse
2
It was shocking because Japan is much safer. I was surprised this didn't happen sooner in the firearm-infested country
1
Only rampant in the US, not in other developed world
1
@snow-uq4gx I was actually talking about firearm-related violence among developed countries, not the developing ones
1
@nelsonhoyos6209 It would depend on the prices of meat and vegetables, which always increase but very slowly. In the meantime, the fast food prices could be kept low for now, because the restaurants don't have to spend more on wages
1
@claudiomonreal4822 The government could employ them for public farming, as AI progress is inevitable
1
@Purowalangkwenta The minimum wage in Massachusetts is $15 per hour and there are many $55,000 houses in the Philippines
1
@Purowalangkwenta Food/ housing are usually provided by the Asian restaurant owners and there are many houses cheaper than $55,000 in the Philippines

@driggs2109 He also said he wouldn't test his creations beyond their strengths, yet he didn't do anything when millions of people were brutally killed by natural disasters and in wars
1
@driggs2109 His statement is written in all Abrahamic holy books and the five-year-old baby didn't have any choice
1
@driggs2109 1 Corinthians 10:12-14: "God will not let you be tested beyond your strength". Tell that to the five-year-old baby who died with excruciating pain and all poor people Daesh slowly burned/ beheaded alive
1
@driggs2109 "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent." "Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent." "Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?" "Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" - Epicurus (ancient Greek philosopher)
1
@driggs2109 The five-year-old child's will was to live without getting pierced by a bullet
1
@invasivecoyote1361 Yes but the US is the most dangerous developed country
1
@simonj5615 Yes, it's rare
1
@mamiller1980 State-owned farms have been working well in China and common people can still have good private farming business. If China can feed more than one billion people with state-owned farms, the US should've been able to do it as well. The federal government owns the most land, nearly 30% of all land in the country
1
@SandcastleDreams It's just a suggestion to save a lot of poor people in the US
1
@SandcastleDreams If I were a homeless person, I'd be happy to have a stable job in a village
1
Many people in the country aren't ashamed of being violent/ crooked and want to be feared. When you have generations that are growing up with no respect for authority and being encouraged to "express themselves" without morals or fear of reprisal, then you have anarchy
