  1. State-owned farms would be the best method to reduce homelessness and to feed poor people, although it would likely trigger backlash from private farm owners. The US retail stores generate about 16 billion pounds of food waste every year, thanks to the free-market economy

  2.  @mamiller1980  State-owned farms have been working well in China and common people can still have good private farming business. If China can feed more than one billion people with state-owned farms, the US should've been able to do it as well. The federal government owns the most land, nearly 30% of all land in the country
