  1. Violent criminals are getting more brazen in injuring, crippling and killing their victims, knowing there's no capital punishment in New York. Their worst scenario is getting free meals, healthcare and shelter for the rest of their lives, which will be paid by the taxpayers

If violent people could only use melee weapons, most of their victims would be able to outrun them, most of them wouldn't be able to cause carnage, there would be no stray bullets piercing the bystanders, the officers would be able take them down and the permanent physical damages could be minimized. It's been proven in other developed and big countries, if we compare their numbers of knife-related homicides and the US' firearm-related ones

  3.  @MA-yl1er  Violent criminals in other developed countries could hardly get illegal weapons because there is almost no legal weapons to steal and look how their authorities have been dealing with it for many decades. The US isn't a unique case
