  1. The same thing applies to Disney's and Dreamworks' 3D animated fantasy movies as well. Their main target is family and they've brought a lot of money Scorcese's movies are more artistic, but they aren't as consistent as the big budget family movies in making huge profit. Most people just want to escape their harsh reality and Disney/ Dreamworks capitalize on it
