I'd be lucky enough if I could get a job at her age

He's a coward. He should've been manly enough to accept defeat or challenge his victim with a fair fight. Put him in jail for several years, for the attempted murder

Many people in the country aren't ashamed of being violent/ crooked and want to be feared. When you have generations that are growing up with no respect for authority and being encouraged to "express themselves" without morals or fear of reprisal, then you have anarchy

The right of the people to use automatic firearms, grenade launchers and C4, shall not be infringed

Nearly half of all firearm homicides went unsolved in 2020 and the homicide clearance rate in the country has fallen to its lowest point in more than 50 years, according to analysis of FBI statistics. Firearm homicides are harder to solve as they take place at a very long distance without getting captured by cameras, there are fewer witnesses and there is less physical evidence

Imagine if firearm ownership was heavily regulated in all states and if the citizens were willing to reduce their "freedom" a little to abolish illegal weapons, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk and play outside in big cities without having to worry about stray bullets

Eye for an eye. Vote for whoever will bring frequent public x-[cute]-ions back on the streets and live TV. Make the country safe again and stop wasting taxpayers' money on violent criminals' meals/ healthcare/ housing/ education

Firearms brought in from Re-pub-[lycan] Indiana. It's impossible to put border guards between Illinois and Indiana and search every vehicle. It's easier to ban firearm manufacturing and destroy every weapon encountered
4
It could be any legal weapon carrier who doesn't realize his or her missed shot pierced someone else. Extreme accessibility of firearms. This atrocity isn't rampant in other developed and big countries. Those who live by them die by them - Matthew 26:52

It's always the Germans

To solve firearm violence problems in the country, ALL states must tighten the firearm laws as other highly developed countries did. Otherwise armed violent people from the states with relaxed firearm control measures could always visit the ones with tighter regulations
3
@michaelhines4600 There were 44,213 firearm-related casualties in 2022. The US government has to replace those citizens and children with around 55,000 legal immigrants who weren't raised with the US' ideology and education, through Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery program each year

The grandfather was stupid enough to keep an active hand grenade at home and never tell his son about it. The father was stupider for pulling the pin out
2
@Limecat88 According to CDC which consists of the representatives from both parties, 46% were homicides and the rest were suicides/ self-defense/ police actions
2
@michaelhuegel4146 I will watch the citizens take each other's lives from far away

@loveppl6999 Taxpayers, who'll be saved from armed thugs
2
Hardworking people can't even do their jobs without being attacked and harassed. Many taxpayers have been injured, crippled and killed, yet the survivors have to pay for the inmates' free meals, healthcare and shelter!

Four armed robberies and still roaming around to do barbaric extremity. It's hard to believe that this is happening in the most powerful country in the world

Florida beaches are full of armed crazies, gators and brain-eating amoeba
1
@JT-do9qm Violent criminals stole legal weapons from pawnshops/ [chuting] range/ stores/ the owners and some of them bought it from unlicensed makers. Extreme accessibility of firearms in the US is a double-edged sword and it's like a chicken & egg situation, because weapon thefts are rampant

It could be a sick TV commercial

At the beginning of the pandemic, Governor Greg Abbott signed HB1927 into law, allowing license holders the freedom to wear their weapons unconcealed. People were afraid and he capitalized on that fear. Firearm sales grew exponentially as did the fear within average citizens. People who wouldn't dream of owning weapons went out and bought "personal protection". The NRA and SCCA got rich overnight. During the lockdown, Greg Abbott signed a law that classified firearm stores as "essential businesses" thus, allowing the panic buying of weapons to continue unimpeded Now that the population is saturated with firearms, access has become easier than ever. Buying a used firearm or acquiring one from the black market is practically effortless. Stealing them is just as easy Fast forward three years. Violent crimes involving a firearm are a daily, commonplace occurrence. It's not just Houston or Texas. Many of those firearms have crossed state lines. America is at war with itself and people are dying every day as a result

Life competition will become harder for the citizens because of the illegal influx. Just send them back to their own countries or to the ones that need cheap workers

@rsimmons1980 The government prefer young people

Only highly money-oriented and desperate people want to be cops in a firearm-infested country, where the work environments are very hostile and the officers are constantly vilified

@trapiconti4001 Or just confiscate all firearms in the country
1
@LosPalms If the citizens were willing to make a little sacrifice for a very short period of time, all illegal firearms could've been abolished. The quickest solutions to clean a firearm-infested country are banning all forms of homemade firearm making, conducting federal internet surveillance to identify illegal transactions and doing routine inspections on the roads to confiscate illegal weapons
1
@CrabFiles Firearms are available like candies, to be bought by untrained/ mentally-ill/ ex-convict/ alcoholic people and stolen by violent criminals
1
@michaelhines4600 The second amendment means the right to bear arms for a WELL-REGULATED MILITIA to protect, family, property and self against INVADERS such as England in 1812, but the NRA lobbyists used it and Obama's statement to flood the country with assault semi-automatic rifles for profit
