Saudis came to the US for military training regularly and they also bought military equipments from the US, but that was because KSA paid for it The actual fact is many religious zealots were enticed by the caliphate promise and were driven by the solidarity towards the Palestinians, hence they joined the religious terrorist groups to do jihad. Nobody forced them to do that
