  2. Yes Charlie, a small firearm would've stopped a man with full tactical gear. Oh Charlie, you still don’t understand? You think every American citizen should exit the house with the ability to take down an armed person wearing tactical gear? So in your perfect America, every person exits the house with high caliber weapons just always ready. What's that Charlie? Every American who doesn’t have armor piercing rounds when going to the grocery store is an idiot. Well Charlie, it looks like you don’t want to live in America. It sounds to me that you want to live in a war zone. Charlie, it sounds to me firearm control is needed. Firearms don’t need to be banned, they need to be controlled. You know, maybe not allowing people with known homicidal tendencies to own a firearm. Maybe requiring a person to speak to a mental health professional before being given a permit. Preferably a mental health expert who’s also a firearm owner. You know, that might help slow sewer side cases in men. They tend to use a firearm, so maybe having an outlet might reduce that statistic. Maybe in some cases, before a person is allowed a legal weapon, they have a person go through their social media to make sure they aren’t threatening people. If they are crazy and talking about taking out the government so be it, they can have their weapon. If they are crazy and naming specific people, their place of work or study, maybe no legal weapon for them? I mean, most mass shooting that Americans care about are perpetrated by legally obtained weapons. No Charlie, I’m not talking about the cases in Chicago. I’m talking about the tragedies that grip the nations attention. Like schools, churches, grocery stores and so on. You know, the ones they think they personally might fall victim too. So Charlie, maybe Ukraine or parts of South America are more to your liking? The citizens there are armed to the teeth. Most have the capability of taking out armed people with bullet proof vest and other tactical gear.
