  2.  @MustardSkaven  Unlike the US, people who've been convicted of crime, mentally-ill or have an alcohol/ drug addiction aren't allowed to buy firearms in Switzerland. They also need to prove that they're well-trained to use it and must pass a test to get a license. The "well-regulated militia" part isn't fully implemented in the US

Based on the data from UNODC in 2020, the intentional homicide victim rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 6.3 in the US, 1.95 in Canada and it is just 1.2 in the whole UK. This means people in the US are SIX times as likely as the ones in the UK to be the victims
