There's a lot to be said for the mullas that use to police the streets of Dublin back in the day. 6ft 4ins around the neck 😂. All jokes aside they ruled the Roost back in the day. The younger generations hasn't a clue about the way things use to be. The differences, everyone felt safe because it was safe. I've seen the biggest and best of hard men that could have a knock show respect to these Mullas up from Kerry limerick Cork Mayobto police Dublin, and they did. I was a victim many a time, hands like number 7 shovels. A box in the ear or a slap you'd remember for a long time. People trusted them, like them or hate them. Those day's are gone, the police force are a shadow of their former selves. Even if they dubble their wages the couldn't recruit the right people. Who's going to give respect to a cop 5ft 1inc who looks like your kid brother dressing up as a cop. It's true no respect none, hate to say it but they need to project some fear into certain communities. It's all fucked up, Dublin has changed so much, i mean everything right across the bord. The whole dynamic of a city has changed the people their attitude their way of living communicating socialising. The devide has grown definitely a them and us mentally. The tempo has risen in the city maybe the country. I pity the people starting out with young kid's, it's a minefield out there.
