  2. It's one thing to shoot a solider at two hundred yards away. It's another to stand literally bare toe to bare toe butchering a mans face while hacking his body. Arm's, hands, bits of matter assaulting you from every direction. The screems and the blood socked ground the were slipping in. This horror to assault the human mind like this is unfathomable. The overload of the sences a crash has to happen to push on, desensitised to the whole horror your engaged in. That's what we can revert to at any time. Human nature, the beast.
